Speaking with my NAET doctor is so inspiring. The man is not supposed to be alive. One of Doc’s (I will call him Doc to protect his name on the internet) preaching points is always fat. Fat is good, fat helps heal your inflammation, fat heals your leaky gut, fat fights depression. The man knows what he’s talking about. He’s living it! He has been Ketogenic cyclically for years and he is sharper mentally than most 30-year-old’s I know. He agrees that Fat Bombs are an incredibly effective way to get in the extra fat necessary for gut health and optimum brain function. You want a happy brain? Fat.
My mother-in-law is the inspiration for these next beauties! She texted me that she was trying my Double Chocolate Fat Bombs, but that she was adding coconut and nuts. I thought this was too brilliant not to share with all of you, but I added another variation in so that I think it is necessary to rewrite the recipe so not to confuse the changes.
1 cup Kerry Gold butter
1 cup almond butter
1 cup coconut oil
1 cup Lilly’s chocolate chips
1/4 cup confectioners Swerve
1/2 cup coconut cream (in the Thai brand coconut milk, the white fat that gathers at the top of the can, just the fat, discard or use in another application the coconut water)
1/4 tsp salt
Desiccated coconut (plain nonsweet)
pecans (about 1/2 a cup, maybe less)
