My default fancy dinner when wanting to give Daniel a nice meal after a hard week is lots and lots of meat, cream cheese and usually bacon lol. Today’s combo is extremely tasty, but still easy following the KISS principal.
First, I marinated the loin for a couple hours and then I butterflied it and salted the inside and outside. Next I stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped with butcher twine, browned on the front and back, then wrapped with bacon and baked for 1 hour at 350°
Now all you need are the ingredients:
1 Pork Loin cut into 2 halves and marinated for at least 3 hours
sea salt
8 oz cream cheese
dried basil
dried oregano
minced garlic
bacon strips
foil to cover while resting
Mix the cream cheese with the spices and a sprinkle of sea salt, then follow above instructions, you can’t go wrong! Just be sure that a meat thermometer tests 145° when it comes out of the oven 🙂 Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes so all those beautiful juices marry.
