When we lived in our little 900 sq/ft apartment, I wanted to do ribs for my carnivore husband, but without a balcony, boiling or baking were my only options. This is where the internet comes in sooo handy. There are so many talented people out there who aren’t afraid to try their hand at just about anything. I found instructions on how to bake ribs in such a way that they not only are tender-fall-off-the-bone tantalizingly delicious, but they also char a little so you get that fresh off the grill taste.
And now that my mouth is watering from thinking about these bad boys, here is the recipe! So….Easy.
What I used:
Get really creative with these!
- sprinkle with salt
- sprinkle with smoked paprika
- sprinkle with molasses or maple syrup
- sprinkle with onion powder & garlic powder
- black pepper
- squirt with initial layer of BBQ sauce and then more for final layer and dipping once served (just use your favorite!)
Preheat oven to 350° and cover broiler pan with foil. Lay out rack of ribs and pour 1/2 cup of water in bottom to keep them moist. Sprinkle on suggested seasonings or some of your own, then bake covered with foil for 1 hour. Remove foil (careful, steam will escape), then generously apply BBQ sauce and bake uncovered for another hour.
Enjoy these amazingly simple and delicious treats!
