I shared with you guys my attempt to help satisfy the constant hunger of my little ones. We give them snacks first thing while I am making a protein filled breakfast, snacks in between meals, but just couldn’t seem to quench a genuine hunger they had. My recipe was very simple, coconut oil, almond butter, Greek yogurt and honey. I must say I am very happy with the results. Their appetites can still stand up to bat with the largest grown man, but overall I find this experiment was quite effective!
The method: feed this mixture to them as breakfast and afternoon snack until seeing results. Results: better sleep for them (and me!!), better poops (just being transparent here, E had been stop and go, but he is alllll go now), and a lot less of “Mommy, I’m hungry!”
Overall I would suggest this to toddler and adult alike if you find yourself struggling with any of the above problems. I will post the recipe below again in case you are interested in trying.
For variation, try mixing in a couple tablespoons of pumpkin and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon too!
1 tbsp softened coconut oil
1 tbsp almond butter
1/2 tbsp honey
3 tbsp Greek yogurt or coconut milk yogurt
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Mix well mashing any lumps and eat as snack, breakfast or before bed.
